Dr. Chachko began her medical education at Kishinev State Medical Institute in Moldova, where she graduated with strong clinical science performance. She later completed neurology training and coursework in Odessa, Ukraine, where she worked as both an internist and neurologist prior to immigrating to the United States. After successfully passing the ECFMG examinations and completing Kaplan preparatory courses for medical licensing exams and masters classes at Harvard. She continued her advanced training with a Psychiatry Residency at Maimonides Hospital, including six months of internal medicine internship training. She further specialized by completing a two-year Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Albert Einstein and achieved fellowship status with the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Throughout her career in the United States, Dr. Chachko served in numerous respected positions, including psychiatrist at Coney Island Hospital, adolescent psychiatrist at Bronx Children’s Hospital and Manhattan Children’s Hospital, and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Elizabeth General Hospital for five years.
Today, Dr. Chachko continues to provide individualized psychiatric care through her private practice at Bristol Medical Building, where she offers psychotherapy, supportive psychotherapy, medication management, and psychopharmacology treatment. Her dedication to building lasting patient relationships has allowed her to care for many individuals over extended periods, particularly those managing chronic psychiatric conditions. Through decades of clinical expertise, academic leadership, and compassionate service, Dr. Chachko remains a respected figure in the psychiatric community and a trusted advocate for mental health and wellness.
